Rockwool Flexi Insulation Slab 50mm
Rockwool Flexi Insulation Slab - 50mm (Pack/12 - 1200mmx600mm)
Rockwool Flexible Insulation(r) Rockwool Flexi Insulation was designed as a dual-purpose, multi-purpose thermal and Acoustic mineral wool insulation which is distinctively flexible on one end. The FLEXI-slab is created with a patent pending flexible edge to ensure that the optimal fit is maintained between the insulation as well as the framework.
The insulation can be put in between freshly cut wood. The insulation will expand into bigger areas as the wood dries out and shrinks. Other types of insulation are affected by displacement, which results in bad sound, or cold spots. Rockwool Flexible insulation slab 50mm offers excellent thermal. and acoustic qualities apart from being classified as A1 as non-combustible to ensure an invulnerability to fire.
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) has been proven to be easy to install and provides the highest efficiency. It can be used throughout the house as well as pitched roof rafters, as well as framed external walls. Internal walls, interfloors, that divide walls and floors and timber suspended floor tiles.

Description
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) can be described as an acoustic, thermal and fire insulation with an exclusive edge of elasticity on one side. The distinctive edge that is flexible means that the perfect fit is maintained by the material and supporting framework to ensure easy installation and the highest performance. FLEXI(r) is ideal to be used as a frame between floors, walls, partitions as well as roofs, with out need for cutting or disposal. It is made from renewable volcanic rock . It is resistant to fire and drastically lowers the carbon emissions of buildings.
Applications
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) can be used to be used in many different applications such as partitions for acoustic and fire insulation flooring, walls and walls as well as thermal insulation for floors, walls and roofs.
Performance
-Thermal
ROCKWOOL FLEXI is available in a range of widths and thicknesses, with thermal conductivity of as high as 0.038 W/mK, and 0.035 W/mK for 140mm or greater thicknesses.
-Fire classification
ROCKWOOL FLEXI(r) can be used to provide an inverse response towards the class A1 of the Fire Classification according to EN13501-1.
Thermotherapy applications for timber frame walls
The additional advantages in thermal efficiency resulting from the utilization the HP (HP) breathing membranes (BM) and the vapor control layers (VCL) over membranes that are conventional are explained below.
The thermal resistance (R-values) calculations utilized to assess exterior cavities are described in the following order:
a. Standard BMI =0.18m2K/W: or
B. Tyvek Reflex BM = 0.540m2K/W
C. Protect Thermo TF200 = 0.77m2K/W
The most effective resistant to heat (R-values) the kinds of comparisons that are used to the service voids are in the following order:
a. Standard VCL =0.18m2K/W: orb. DuPont AirGuard VCL = 0.680m2K/W
C. Secure Foil for VC = 0.78m2K/W
